| Buckskin Joe is a legendary old west town and theme park located in southern Colorado. The town has been featured in many timeless favorite western movies, including the Duchess and The Dirtwater Fox starring Goldie Hawn. The theme park is well known and considered a beloved jewel of tourism to the neighboring town of Canon City. Also well known and beloved is the resident magician of the old west town of Buckskin. Gunfights are held daily with full-blown shoot-outs between the good and bad boys, but what is even more talked about is the magic of Christian Augustine. | As the lights dim and the beautiful old vaudeville
curtain is raised, the dusty, hot street outside fades away along with all
of the troubles of tourist life, and the world is filled with magic and
wonder, all created with the skillful hands of Christian and his lovely
wonder-workers as he calls his assistants.
15 minutes goes by in a flash of beautiful costumes and amazing illusions, along with some great comedy that leaves the audiences smiling.

This has been the summer home to Christian Augustine for 17 years and he has become as much as a legend here as the town itself. He has continued to revamp, add to, and create more spectacular illusions every year in order to entertain the masses. He continues to work at Buckskin Joe, where he is the proprietor of his own magic shop. After each show he can be found there, doing what he loves best, performing tricks for the kids close-up, and telling everyone the tales of his journeys.
